Widest tire on 15x6 wheel.
What is the widest tire I can put onto a 15x6 wheel?

Alright, I'll let him know. He was asking me because I had 245s on my 14x6 Mopar Rallye wheels when I had my charger, and 235s on my mustang with 15x6.5 wheels.

Basically, it's the difference between what you can, and what you should put on a wheel that narrow. For a straight-line car, you can go wider, as a soft sidewall is good for drag racing and such, and those cars also had a much, much taller sidewall, so more room to flex. However, when it comes to going around corners and using a lower profile tire, you don't want to pull the sidewalls in that much, as they won't be as stiff.

Thought we had to have at least a 16" rim cause of the brakes on the RA, but then again i never tryed a smaller wheel other then the stock RA rim.

A bunch of people run 15's on their RA's for winter setups with no clearance issues.
