SS Brake Lines
Hey all
I have a question related to SS Brake lines. I know RRM sells them, I know their purpose. My question is, if I change my front brake lines for SS and keeps my OEM rear brake lines, would this cause problems ?
Don't get my wrong, I ain't cheap on the car. I'm just wondering, because RRM seems to sell a pair (2 brake lines, not 4) for 90$. I'm wondering if having 4 brake lines is necessary as they are only selling them by pair.
Thanks !
Neo

Ideally, you should change out all 4, but there are no issues with just doing the front, you'll still see a benefit. Somebody makes a front/rear set for our car for somewhere around $150, but I'm completely blanking out on the name of the company.

hum so if I understand correctly, the RRM ones are only for front ? If I buy 2 sets on the RRM website, it would not fit on the back ?
I saw one company on ebay selling 4 brake lines for our car, but ... it's ebay.

For my 2006 Ralliart, I got mine here, from an online store in Toronto: http://www.tougetuning.com/store/
Chris at Touge is a great guy to deal with.
It was about $125 CDN for all six lines that make up the front and rear brake line set of the Ralliart. They are American made, excellent quality, and were a perfect fit.
You're from Quebec? Then buy these from a Canadian vendor, don't wait four weeks for shipping then get your package destroyed by customs while paying excessive duty charges, like I have too many times.

The rear lines are 2 sections. 2 lines for the front, 4 lines for the rear.

The install is easy, and yes you will need to bleed your brakes... lol
Remember when bleeding brakes, when you've think you've bled them enough, do it a bit more.. lol

You'll also need a flare nut wrench (10mm) to do the installation.

I'm finally looking into getting some SS Brake Lines... does anyone know where to get a full set for front and rears? I looked at RPW and that canadian site but neither carry for the RA anymore. Any other ideas on where to get them now?

Check on ebay. For US, the Techna-Fit are on ebay. For Canadians, they aren't

For the Canadian website they have the Techna-Fit for the Evo X only. Would those fit on the RA?
