Help with wheel search
I'm looking at buying new wheels and tires for my '04 RA and so far love the look of these... Kobe K_5 (black gloss). From what I've read on the forums about size and fitment I believe they should work, yet when I enter vehicle information into any website it tells me they do not.
Here are the wheel specs...
17x7
Offset: +40
Bolt Pattern: 5x 100/114.3
What there do they not think will work? I think stock offset is +42, but is that enough to make them not fit? Im pretty inexperienced with this stuff.. Please help me?
Thanks in advance!

Stock offset is 46. They'll work, but if you go too wide on the tire they might rub a bit and you'll have to roll the fenders.

Wow.. I even read the "Read First" thread and missed the offset. Must have read that 42 somewhere else right after.
Thanks though, that helped quite a bit.
Does anybody have any experience with or knowledge of Kobe wheels?
They seem to be a small name and are somewhat hard to find, but I love the minimalistic look their wheels have + some great finishes. If you know anything clue me in ? ?

Yea I love the 5 spoke look. My car is diamond white pearl. Definitely wanna go with black or gun metal to go with the white. So far the K-5 in gun metal are my favorite, but I don't know if the 40 offset will work with my car because it has been lowered in front. The previous owner did it so I'm not sure how much...
Any suggestions on good sites for ordering wheels? I've been checking tire rack, 1010, and discount tire... and dont trust wheels next. Or any suggestions on good quality wheels that come in a size that works with our car?

whats nice about the K-5 is that the spokes go to the end making the appearance of the rims much bigger than rims with a lip. the offset is fine it will fit like a glove.

K-5s are pretty nice looking! Very minimalistic look to them. Anyone have info on weight/wheel?
*edit - dammit, the K-5 is a 4-bolt; realized this was re: Ralliarts. The Kam-5 is a 5-bolt, but I don't like them nearly as much as the K-5.

The K-5's come 5x100/114.3 too, no idea what the weight is though.
my only problem is finding a good site to order from. I've found them at places like thewheelconnection and primetireandwheels, but I have no idea if they are good to order from or not. Cant seem to find much information on them.
Anyone know anything about those places, or a good site to order Kobe wheels from?

Thanks for the info on the 5x100/114.3. I might not have dug into that site enough and assumed the kam-5 was the 5-bolt option.
