Cusco Type II Lower Brace
Any thoughts on the Cusco Type II lower brace? Does it fit (I have stock dp)? Do you have to remove or modify the plastic lower panel? Can you feel the difference on the street. T.I.A.

Are you asking this about an Evo or Ralliart? It'll fit both, and IIRC, it attaches far back enough that it doesn't interfere with the undertrays.

It'll fit with no problems, as mentioned above.
As far as feel, the more you modify the suspension (lowering spring, higher spring rates, stiffer struts and coilovers), the more you can tell the difference.
Also, I drive here in the pothole Capitol of New York city, where I can definitely
feel more solidity in the front end. (Bilstein w/ Swift spring upgraded)
I guess the best brace would be the 6point Mine's or Carbing brace (around $250), but I got a used Cusco type 2 for $80 used.
Installed it about 3 months ago on my almost 6yr old - 67K Evo, and it was definitely worth the money. My stock brace was slightly bent form hitting something, I noticed it during install.
I'm sure if you get it with the Type 1 at the same time, it will obviously tighten the front end even more. If you are going to modify your suspension, I think its worth it!

Anyone know if this fits the Megan TBE? Also, best prices can be found from JSC that I have seen. Much cheaper than Speed Corps (pretty high prices).

This bar will fit on a stock dp. No modification is needed.
Aftermarket DP you might need to worry but stock should be fine.
Type 1 and 2 fits perfect on my Evo9.
You cant feel a huge difference unless you upgrade alot of your suspension.

I know that evo bars fit the ralliart, well at least the cusco type 1 and 2 as well as the megan h brace. My experience with the megan bar has not been too good. After the bar was installed I was hearing popping noises from my front right lower suspension. I believe this is a result of having too much stiffness due to my sway bar links and bushings. The car does behave a little better with the bar but if anyone has experienced this type of problem please chime in as I have since removed the bar to save my ears.
