Drives: 2006 Lancer Ralliart

Tire Size

I have a 2006 Lancer Ralliart and I'm looking to change my stock all-season tires (205/50-16) with a full set of 4 winter rims and winter tires (195/65-15) from my Nissan Maxima. The tires are brand new and would cut through the snow a lot better than the all-season tires.

I've tried the tires on the Lancer and they fit. The bolt pattern 5-114 is the same and the rims and tires fit on the hub and clear the calipers and the struts.

The problem is though that the Nissan tires are off by nearly an inch on circumference.

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
205/50-16 4.0in 12.0in 24.1in 75.6in 838 0.0%
195/65-15 5.0in 12.5in 25.0in 78.5in 807 3.8%
195/60-15 4.6in 12.1in 24.2in 76.1in 833 0.6%

Will using these tires and rims cause problems with my ABS and with performance of my car? Could it void warranty items?

Thanks for any help ...

It'll cause your mileage/speedo to be inaccurate and will reduce performance, since it'll be harder for the engine to turn the larger tire.
