Tein S-Techs, camber, realign

Hey,

I currently have in their box the Tein S-Techs and I will install them when summer arrives. I've had a chat with some of my friends and they told me that I would have to realign the car, readjust the cambers and other stuff. As I am a pro in mechanics (that's called sarcasm!), I don't know how to do all this.

The S-Techs drops my RA 1.1 inches on front and 0.2 on the back. I'm not the only one who've put S-Techs on their RA, so did you guys had to do all the realign stuff ? If so, I will have to go to a shop for this as I know nothing.

Thanks,

Neo

When you change ride height, you're changing some of the suspension geometry...definitely take it in to a shop for an alignment done after you throw the springs on.

Yes geometry will be changed... you don't have to do a new alignment but it is recommended.

Anyway, after winter time, you should always send your car for a fresh alignment.

It costs 50-60$ and save your tire too !

With just s-techs, there is enough "adjustment room" in the stock RA suspension to dial it in. If you want to go nuts and do some really aggressive camber, or go super low in the future (i.e. air bag it), then maybe.
