upgraded dampers

I plan to install Progress or Eibach Prokit springs and wish to know which upgraded dampers are available. Apparently my oe. dampers will have a reduced life with these springs.
A couple of questions please:
1- Are KYB GR2 dampers any better than oe. units?
2- I want to reduce the floaty ride without losing too much ride comfort. Which
springs would be better, Eibach or progress?
Thanks guys, regards Warwick.

I'm pretty sure KYB GR2 are equivalent to OEM. No better or worse.

I've been using the OE struts with Progress springs for a couple years now. If they reduce the lifespan, it's not drastically.

I can't speak for the Eibachs, but I've been happy with the Progress springs since I put them in.
