Toyo Proxes 4 review

I just replaced my Goodyear Eagle RS-A's with a set of Toyo Proxes 4's 205/50/16, and let's just say that the Toyo's out perform the goodyears in every way imaginable. I would recommend the Proxes 4 to anyone who's looking for a tire that's good in the wet and dry and have a respectable treadwear rating of 300, which is of course, better than the goodyears.

But on the bad side, the shop that installed the tires did a horrible job balancing them, I was on the highway on the way home and I heard a loud bang under the car on the passenger side, scared the crap outta me, then about 10 minutes later, the same noise on the drivers side, I pulled over to see what it was, sure enough all the weights on the inside of each wheel came off!

Anyways, get a set of Toyo Proxes 4 and you'll be happy, I only paid 135CDN a tire.

I just got toyo proxes 4 yesterday and got discount for alightment at $50

I say it's great tire for all season. of course Advan is way better performance tire but it wore out too fast. proxes feels very comfortable, quiet, and soft.

When you get the alignment I heard all you need to do is correct to tow in the rear and it's good to have a little camber? Or am I just hearing stupid stuff?

wow that's some **** ass job by that company. Now you know why you got discounted $50. I was looking at some tire/wheel companies in Vancouver, now I won't be looking at "Oktire", I've actualy never seen them either

So I will take it you get no snow there? I am concerned about any tire though because the RA has decent low end torque which makes tires worthless unless you are keeping the revs low, like 30mph in 4th gear.

If you don't have anything useful to add then why say anything?
