so far the proxes are feeling good. I figured I might as well try something new and Toyos aint no crappy tire and I've run a set of falkens before and I didn't like how long they lasted. but if i could ever make my picture big enough i'd post some pics up of it.

I have the proxes 4's for my summer tires but then I haven't tried the Falkens. I really like the proxes and would recommend them. Definitely not for winter you'll be sliding all over the place.

I just replace my Proxes 4's a few weeks ago (215/40/18) and paid $175 for a tire and they wore down pretty fast after 20k miles and would not like to be in heavy rain or snow at that point while driven hard. I didnt want to pay that amount again and did some research and got the Kuhmo Escta SPT's and I have to say they are leaps and bounds better then the Toyo Proxe 4's by a long shot. I had a chance to drive in some pretty heavy rain up in here in the Tacoma, Wa. just this weekend and scared the crap out of my friend at the speed and amazing grip going about a 25mph half circle off ramp off the hwy way and I was doing like 60mph and could pushed it harder in the rain and maintained control...gotta love Quattro AWD. I always thought the Proxe 4's were noisey and yes I was correct when comparing to my new tires.

I have had the Proxes 4 approx 4 months. I have OEM size on stock rims, V rated. They have a lag in the steering response not sharp like the RSA's that came off and initially felt like when you change to your snow tyres. Trade off is a more comfortable ride. Grip is good. I would buy again only if I can get higher than V rating.

I had them on one of my DSM's a long time ago when they came out. So did a buddy on his 240. Neither of us were impressed or liked them too much. Weak sidewall and prone to chunking.
