hows launching with these tires? do they grip good from the line? worth the money in that aspect?....dont really care about handling cuz my car is gonna be mainly a drag car.

as far as launching my proxies t1s are the best i have had (been through 6 sets of tires on my ra, and a lot more on my other cars

It launches better than the Eagle RSA's but if you're building a drag car you should be looking at drag radials or slicks or that kinda thing, not an all season tire.
Joe, my tires have seen the snow once, they were ok, but not great, I could get around, but i wouldnt want to use them everyday in the snow.

6 sets of rs1's??? damn do they have a problem with how long they last? or do u just roast your tires everytime you drop the clutch?

I got the toyos bundled with this Sportmax 006 and come to find out its a universal wheel and I got the tire in 205/45r17...it doesnt look right i dont think...what should i do..somebody mentioned getting 215/40.

So if Iwant DAILY DRIVER tires, and want really good launching traction (not worried about handling) you think I should skip over the proxies??? What do you guys reccomend?

oh dang I didn't know that..i live in fredericksburg, VA. but i go to college down at VaTech at blacksburg. That would be the weeekend i move back into my apartment but i'll try and search around about that though.

The Proxes were an excellent daily driver tire with some definate performance upgrades vs the stock tire. I've now gotten rid of my Proxes and purchased a set of Falken FK 452's, these tires are very impressive so far, wet and dry conditions,more grip than the Proxes, but we'll see how long they last...

how is the ride quality? I loved the grip in the corners of my NeoGens, but after a while, the extra cabin bumpage really got to me. It caused more little creaks and rattles to start up, and every tiny bump made you jump out of your seat. How are the toyos?

IMO 135$ CAN per tire is expensive as you can get some Falken Azenis Rt-615 fore few bucks more or some Hankook RS-2 at the same price... if you we're looking for summer tire tho !
