it all depends on what you travel on more, I got the kumho cause they are more suited for dry, I travel on dry most of the time, so there were a better choice. If I lived on backroads or did not do much highway travel I would get the more aggressive deep snow

Enjoying my 06' WRX....snow anyone???
Honestly couldn't compare them with the Toyos cause we don't carry them. But the X is Michelins new studless snow tire that replaced the Artic Alpin. Unlike the Alpin, the X has an enhanced silicon compound and heavier directional tread design to help aid wet traction and clear day handling. Its still considered the more aggressive of Michelins lineup even though it looks more sport oriented. Since it is brand new we haven't had a chance to test it yet. I don't think any customers have had a chance to use it fully either. So, the jury is still out until it snows.
Well so far so good, I like the aggresive feel of the X-ice. They have yet to be really tested. I will keep you posted....
I think I paid more than 115 for them though, all 4 instaled came to like $740, thats p205/50/r16's
