Drives: 04 Lancer Ralliart Turbo Wagon

Angry How on earth did it end up so compilcated?

Hi,

You'll have to excuse the noobness of this post.....
I bought a Lancer wagon a couple of months ago to replace my stolen Forrester, and it's pretty nice. Very shiny...etc. At the time I thought - it's not as quick as the Forrester - but hey, it's 5 years newer, and long term I'll give it to the missus and buy myself an Evo. Cool.
However - like anybody who's owned a series of fast cars, I can't help myself when it comes to throwing in a few "tweaks" to liven things up a bit....
So cut a long story short - I then tried to find some base mods, that don't require too much cash and are available in New Zealand/Australia...but I've run into a little difficulty...I seem to be unable to find which aftermarket parts will fit.

Hopefully someone here will be able to take a stab...and given the spec, maybe you'll see why it ended up way too complicated...

4-Speed Tiptronic

Someone elses pics: http://forums.trinituner.com/forums/...r=asc&&start=0 (I got the sh!t 'corporate' bumper tho)

I'd like to start with some sort of short ram intake, maybe an evo8 intercooler (if it will make a half decent difference),BOV, ECU (reflash?) and catback - probably in that order and stretched over the next 12 months...

Suggestions/thoughts?

Dammit. I wish my sportback was a cedia. Your car looks better (No bug-eyed headlights), plus comes stock with a 4g64t (40+ higher hp and tq figures). Why Mitsu didn't just make the same car worldwide, or at least make the 4g63 or 4g64 available on the R/A in the states...is beyond me.

Meet the Short Bus (no 56k)

Told ya. Cedia looks better. What do you mean by "corporate" bumper? Is it the same as mine?

They're not a vendor here, but check in with www.rpw.com.au. Probably your only bet.

Yep same bumper - in fact mostly the same from the outside - it's just under the hood that's a bit different.

So - Air filters - Pod or Panel?

Drives: '04 lancer sportback ralliart, 02 PT Cruiser, 96 Jetta Trek (without the bike;)

check wikipedia it shows what cars have that engine and you might be able to find performance parts. the engine in the wagon is the same as the sedan.

exterior is from 02-03 US lancers (fenders, hood and front bumper) check out this site:

I wish I had your spoiler, its over $800 USD to have one imported!

Good Luck!
