I need help!!

okay so my 06 RA is actin up in more than one area lol.

first off, my driver side headlight is messed up. the bulb is fine, just put a new one in. so my thought is that its the wiring harness for the light assembly itself. anyone know where i can get a new one? do i have to get one from a dealership? or does anyone have one lyin around? any help would be great guys.

secondly, my third gear is acting up. it makes a short and quick grinding sound if i shift into 3rd gear to quickly, no matter if the clutch is all the way through the danged floor-board. i have no clue what is going on. it only happens with third gear. anyone have any ideas on what it is? i heard it might be the 3rd gear synchronizer...but i have no idea. hopefully its not too expensive...just got a speedin ticket the other day haha 74 in a 55...oops

btw, you got an 06, warranty will cover it. bring it in to a mitsu dealer.

Norfolk virginia huh? Years back we had an evom.net lancer meet down there. Supposed to have another one but never happened lol. Funny see that town name pop up again.

yeh i have the same problem shifting in to third, but its normally just up at the higher revs.

yeah it only does it if i shift hard into third or when i'm at high revs. i'll take it into the mitsu dealer. and yea they actually had a lancer/evo meet a few months ago down in virginia beach at the lynnhaven mall. i didnt even know it was goin on till i drove past and was like WTF haha. had some guys from new york show up. it was great cant wait for the next one!

My fifth gears been doing this since I bought the car last year (its an 04), I figured it was the synchro.

I really don't care enough to get the synchro changed out, what are the realistic outcomes of my neglect for my 5th gear synchro?
