transmission slipping

ok here's the problem , when i my driving and the car accelarate up to 80mph the transmission start to slipp,then when i slow down to about 50mph the same thing happens,now the question is my car has 72,000 miles on her i want to bring it to the dealer,because of the 10yr 100,000 mile warrenty,
will my 2004 ralliart be covered

AT or MT? If it's an AT then that's a problem. If it's a manual, then your clutch is slipping, not the trans, and no, a clutch won't be covered.

I have an automatic too. I'm interested to see what they say about this. I have been having a similar issue where I will be stopped at a light, and then all of a sudden, the car jerks forward just a bit. Sometimes when I'm driving, it will also shift harder than what would be considered normal. Let me know what Mitsu tells you. I have about 76k miles on mine.
