? about Intake Air Temp. Sensor

I was thinking about moving the IAT to a different location to make engine think it is getting colder air and then came to find that it is wired into the Mass Air Flow Sensor and was wondering has anyone tried to hack it to make this possible. Anybody's thoughts on this would be great.
