your plugs should be good for another 40k miles along with everything else for a tune up....do you have a boost controller on it?

I'm willing to bet that, if you haven't already replaced it, its accel pedal position sensor.

this, but also listing any mods you've done would be helpful!

the car has 88,000 but i put 20 of them on it

so i changed my oil not even a month ago and i checked my oil today (the car dosent smoke at all and dosent leak a drop NONE WHATSOEVER) it was three quarts low dont ask how it isnt blown up. any way im gussing it didnt have enough oil pressure to fully engage mivec ??? but it has to be burning oil because its not leaking any my cat stinks when i turn the car off too.

does it have a boost controller? no because its not boosted

If you've lost 3 qts you've got much bigger issues. If you're not mechanically inclined it's time to find a mechanic.

did you add the proper amount of oil into the engine? I have to ask this. Also what is your crankcase pressure? Should be under a vacuum when running but positive pressure can cause some issues. If you did add the proper amount of oil it went somewhere either out the tail pipe/ internal leak, or external leakage.

What SSP said. First thing I'd do in that situation is a leak down test. Figure out if the rings or valves are letting an excessive amount of oil by.

i kind of have the same issue with mine, but my oil level is fine. its not at 5000 though either. its when i have my cruise set between 60-70 every once in a while it will... lurch? i guess would be the word. i can feel the power just go away and come back. its like i push the clutch in and let it back out real quick, minus the jerkiness.

it's enough to make me lean forward and then push me back in my seat a little bti
