Has any tried side exhaust?

I am looking to do exhaust on my car and I have always been a fan of nice side exhaust. Was curious if anyone has tried or knew someone who has tried this on the RA.

I will eventually be trying this. probably over the winter while the lancer has downtime.. I plan to run a 3 inch and just dump it right behind my driverside wheel. because the fender is already in bad shape where the exhaust will be sticking out anyway. I know 3 inch is rather big, but it'll fit the HP i'm aiming for.

but like i said i wont be doing this for a while. It's possible, just nobody has done it and posted up on the forums about it.

another good idea would to have it in the back side skirt, Saleen mustang style. It'll look nice. You shold do it before me and let me know how it went lol.

I'm guessing any decent muffler/exhaust shop can do this.

That was actually the plan out the side skirt passenger side probably depending on what side is easiest and less restrictive. I plane on running at max 2.5" or just 2.25" with hi flow cat and a muffler just have not decided on the muffler yet. But that's the next thing I am doing so hopefully by Oct Nov I should be done with this.

i was thinking something more along the lines of out the side of the rear fender like that one car in Fast and Furious 1 lol. cant remember what it was but it had a little exhaust hole behind the wheel about a foot up the fender and it looked alright

I still drool over the Charger and seeing it get rebuilt in the fourth was amazing and the Evos and Skylines have been sexy in the movies.
