P0442 - Evap emissions small leak

If your car throws this code once, tighten your gas cap.

If you reset it and it comes back, try replacing your gas cap.

If it comes back again every day for a year and a half , replace the crappy plastic check valve on top of your gas tank. Mine was stuck closed.

haha i remember way back when i pm'ed you that the same thing happened to me, luckily i just had to tighten the gas cap.
