What should it be or what should you set it to for better performance? I usually set 0.032 but I think stock calls for about 0.044.

what are the best brand of plugs to buy when replacing them. is it nkg or what?

I just replaced mine today in the Evo with NGK's. Didn't gap or torque them as I did last time. Car has a tiny bit more pep to it today.

OEM NGK plug. They have a 90,000 mile service life.
