Evo Diversion panels Fit?

Hey guys, I got the new issue of import tuner and its the cooling special. all the products to get your engine temps down for a safer ride in the summer. alot of good articles. and since i live in jersey (blistering cold winters, and scorching hot summers) I really need to keep my motor cool so it dont blow up again lol....

so im reading and i see the thing for diversion panels. things you put between your hood and front bumper to ram the air into your radiator, instead of just all over the motor.

im wondering if evo Diversion panels will fit our car. ANYBODY?

I never heard it called a radiator shroud before. i heard of diversion panels, Cooling plates, and some dumb people calling them "air dams". But yea if another name of it is radiator shroud, than yea i guess thats what im looking for. and it fits? sweet.

is radiator shroud and diversion panels the same thing?

^Exact same thing and no the evo one does not fit IIRC. There was a guy a while back who had CNC'd a bunch of them and anodized them red (surely you've seen them on some of the cars on this site). I don't recall if he makes them anymore though.

If you're worried about heat, then I think you'd be better off either upgrading your radiator or/and installing an oil cooler. For your turbo'd car, I think the oil cooler would be the better investment.

Oh i'm doing it all. lol trust me. bigger/more effiecnient radiator, new oil pump and oil cooler, trying to figure out what fans i can drop in there. I want it as cool as possible. thats why i was interested in this product. So it does or it don't fit? lol got two different answers.

If anybody on this site that has the ralliart one Fifty mentioned above, i'll buy it off you.

Does not fit, but radiator shrouds are pretty simple. If you know someone who can do basic sheet metal work (bending and cutting) then you can make one.

Drives: dodging potholes at an area near you

One of the most efficient ways of maximizing the cooling efficiency of the radiator is with the fan shrouds. If you plan on installing an aftermarket pull-type fan, try to see if you can reuse the stock fan shrouds or make a shroud so that it expels heat from the whole fin area. If your sticking with the stock fans, by any means do not get rid of the shrouds.

I really wish someone could volunteer to make a functional one. I'd totally buy one if someone started a group buy

I made one for my RA so that at higher speed there was direct airflow only going through the radiator. I also do not have a condenser anymore.
