UDP review
I know there is a performance part review, but i also know there are a thousand cai vs. short ram threads out there. Basically, i would like to compare my positive results w/ others.
So put it on tonight and omg wow. I am so impressed... took 35 minutes because i did a ton of research. Belt sucked but that was it. My steering is light through 4th gear!!! I plan on dynoing and 1/4 mile. With these 3 mods in my sig i seriously have to wonder who im slower than. Low end torque has completely been restored. Great match with cai. Seriously if you only got maybe a grand and need some cheap hp. You'll be quite pleased with these. Installs on all these are relativelty simple. Who needs boost....
RRM is the shi*

I want the p/p intake mani next or the header dp combo....not real sure. Anywho i dont have the piggy either. I dont trust myself with wire to much so i am leaving that for later. All my installs so far are diy. Im cheap like that lol. And anyone wondering the best use of $280 is the etcb. Seriously wont regret it. 10hp in 5 minutes seriously wow.

I'm thinking about that timing control box. It seems to be pretty good, in fact, better than the Piggyback and much less cheaper and less trouble to install. + the Piggy takes 91oct while the timing box is 89 (correct me if I'm wrong) !
Does the timing box gives you hp AND tq on all rpms on high end just like our Injen ?

thats why all my parts are SIMPLE seriously i am so afraid of messing it up but i know a lot of pple who know cars. Anywho the header/dp combo looks so nice. Right now its that for me or p/p intmani. I want everything seriously. I want to say efff boost na is so the way. No offense to boost but its nice when you just smoke someone who thinks they r sweet because they have a turbo. Once im taking down srt4s im done. And for the ? b4 the etcb takes 91 if i remember anywho i use 93 no matter what. I get more gas mileage toooooo. Like 270 miles/tank ...with a lot of wot. Omg mivec rocks.

My gas mileage varies so much and I don't really understand why. Sometimes I'll get 270 or so on a tank other times 250. I think when you switch to the MIVEC cam lobe it just cuts your mileage so much.

I don't see how using 93 all the time would get you more gas mileage... regardless you should be making around 300 miles/tank but then again thats without alot of wot

dude that sux. if anything short shift to the speed limit. I noticed i basically just fly through the gears and bam im at 60 or w/e speed. Idk if anyone noticed but with it my car sounds.......idk more tuned. It just doesnt have that crazy intake sound it sounds very controlled and powerful

All rpms are affected . The lower rpms didnt improve as much w/o udp but it did return a lot of low end and high end is still the kick in the pants i love. Im still trying to decide if it was as big a difference as the cai. Hard to determine since it improved my cai. I would say yes but it purely just makes your engine more efficient. Efficiency= power. Its the basic idea of all mods. More power w/o engine.
So seeing as this is about the udp. How does everyone like it. Mine really makes me feel like im in a japanese rocket lol...when you go fast we all look japanese ....lol see
