No, no and NO! Definitely not more reliable. Mitsubishi spent millions doing the ECU and tuning it. Unless you have really really deep pockets you will not get the same level of driveability. Will it start first crank? Idle as nicely? If a sensor develops a problem will the ECU tell you? No no no.
With the kit I designed I switched over to a recirculating BOV. It's difficult to do it properly as an atmospheric because many valves leak and let out an inconsistant amount of air. I am working on a system that switches to a speed density blend just after boost and a rapid decrease in TPS. This will take a lot of extra time and testing but I believe I can make it work. I'm still working hard on the reflash unit.
