Question cold air intake!?

I installed an AEM cold air intake on my 04 ralliart. I love the gain in power, except when i get up around 100 m.p.h. my engine stalls out. How do i fix this so that i can keep up power at high speeds, because it pisses me off really badly when it does this.

Have you disconnected the (-) cable and reconnected then started the car and let idle for 10 minutes?

When the engine stalls out are you getting a check engine light?

i just tried that it still stalls out. and yes i get the check engine light. but i held out on 4th gear till close t0 6rpm then hit fifth gear and it didnt stall out on me. so im not really sure what the problem is, unless im not winding 4th gear out long enough.
