Video of reflashed car.

I'm a tuner and programmer, not a videographer.

Just thought it would be nice to put a video to it. I'm going to build a launch control feature similar to the honda stuff. As you can see the from the photos in the video the piggyback has been removed and it's only running on the factory ECU.

Still got a little more work to do on the tune and the closed loop settings. I want to deliver the car with a proper over-boost cutoff so something stupid like a burned wastegate hose doesn't spell the end of your engine.

Why does it only rev to 4500 rpm? Isn't that "limp mode"? If so, why would you post a video of that?

IIRC he said in a previous he did a proof on concept by changing the rev limter on the ecu.

That's odd. In his first post it seems as if he's GOING to build a rev limiter for it.. as if it's not done yet.

I know my car limits my revs at 4500rpm sometimes. I'm guessing it does that when it's cold? I've had it in neutral and revved it up to red line before. I've never tested this theory out though..

You guys are missing the point......he changed the rev limiter to prove that he has cracked the ecu and can make changes and by changing the rev limiter it is an easy demonstration to show you guys......

Setting the rev limiter at 4500rpm is an easy way to show that he can do it and if he can change it to 4500rpm he can set it to what ever he wants to.....

Yes, the rev limiter was changed purposely to show that it was done. The video also shows that it's running 550cc injectors at pretty close to stoich and it's not even in closed loop yet - still in warmup. No piggyback, no maf adjuster, just a reflash.

Thanks for clarifying.....I was just going off the information in this thread (OP didn't mention what was actually happening....just that a Ralliart ECU had been reflased). I didn't search any of your other threads.
Good luck to you.
