Raising the idle rpm's
Is there a way to raise the rpm to about a 1000 on our engines? Cause my car would feel much better that way. I know the Eclipse is a bit different than a Ralliart, but the engines are the same and we have drive by wire throttle.

You could force it by tightening up the throttle cable, but it wouldn't be the right way. Our idle is controlled automatically by the ECU, so there's no mechanical way to adjust it.

Well I need to figure something out, cause the car always worked better at a bit higher rpm's. Especially now that the summer is here. I can't even turn on the AC cause the car might die out. It might be these stupid spark plugs that are in, although the guys at the shop are saying it's not. I have these NGK 3672 plugs that someone recommended, but I do remember them being a bit shorter than stock.

Yeah, if your car is having issues holding idle, you definitely need to fix the problem instead of trying to hide it.
If you still have the stock plugs, throw them in really quick to see if that fixes the idle issue or not.

you are running 500cc+ injectors right? that might be stretching the ECU adjustments a bit only thing I can think of off the top of my head.
you will definitely have to wait for the ECU to be cracked before you can adjust target idle. I agree with otter: you should not try to hide the issue, unless of course you find the ECU is having trouble compensating...

If the ECU isn't compensating enough then the car is out of fuel control. No need to try and adjust idle. Means you have a vacuum leak somewhere or running too rich. You need to find out what your O2 sensors are reading and your STFT/LTFT. That will tell you everything.

You can adjust your fuel delivery if that is the culprit to have your ECU run as was designed.

It does feel like there's a leak somewhere, but my afr's are perfect.Someone on this site recommended me the NGK 3672 plugs, which are a bit shorter. You think that might be the problem?

anything is a posibility, how much shorter? do they stick out of the head at all? it's a particularly long shaft
I thought you had already gone back to the stock fuel setup and still had the issues, were the plugs not included in that swap?

I don't know anymore. There seems to be different problems at different times. I'm going nuts over here. It's been 2 months since the car worked properly.

Where exactly did you drill, and do you have a picture of it?
