Turbo clutch
What kinda clutches are some of you guys using? I need something that's light on the foot, but strong enough to handle up to 300whp. I searched the forum but nobody specified hp numbers for a specific clutch.

RRM stage one is what i have. perfect. stage 3 is over kill and more harsh for daily driving. The stage 3 is also a little more harsh on the drive train. Stage one is all you need for your/my setup.

Well i had the stage one clutch BEFORE the turbo. put the turbo on and my stage one clutch blew out (i abused it immidently after installation, no break in period, my fault)....
So for a while i drove with the turbo kit on a stock clutch. It help up for a little but, but slowly but surely started slipping. After a while i installed a NEW stage one clutch, and it grabs everytime i hit the gas, when i shift i bang the gears alot smother, faster, and everything feels nice and crisp. Little jerky, but thats a given w/ the setup you have...

you won't even feel the difference after a while. get a stage 3... your leg will get used to it and it'll be fine. I have a 03 oz turbo and have stage 3 clutch and every other car i drive i think the clutches are pieces o crap when i feel them. trust me.

Ummm... stage 3 hurts lol.... depends if you have muscles like the incredible hulk. But for the average joe, and daily driving, it get annoying. If you live in a major city and alot of first gear coasting/driving, get stage one. If theres alot of high ways and you want a race car feel. get the stage 3. but trust me stage 3 gets annoying driving it everyday in traffic.

I want something soft like stock but strong for 250whp. If stage 1 can do that, then that's the one I want.

I think RRM was saying the stage one they sell was a fair fit for that.

I don't think any clutch would be too difficult to eventually get used to I've driven a friends ACT decked out civic and although pretty stiff it was not difficult to get used to it in medium traffic. I get more annoyed then tired in heavy traffic, no matter how long I'm sitting my anger outweighs my fatigue

WORKS makes a stage 1 and with the aluminum flywheel it costs around the same price as RRMs stage 1 alone.
speaking of stiff clutches my friend had a stage 3 4 puck unsprung in his gti, now that was annoying in traffic. or maybe a stage 5 on a 300z.
