Synapse Synchronic BOV?

Now I know... we've discussed the BOV/DV topic before, but this Synapse brand has really caught my attention. I know that the RRM RA Turbo kit uses the Bosch OEM DV for Audi's/VW, and the Synapse Synchronic BOV has a fittings kit for that one. Wondering if anyone has any input? The Synapse ad can be found on the right side of the site, I've seen it quite often(either that or I visit here too much).

I currently use an APR R1 DV in my RA, not that the Bosch one gave me any problems, but the APR was much higher in quality compared to the plastic thing that Bosch developed for OEM Audi/VW.

Thanks guys!

We use them all the time, ive never used one on a Lancer Ralliart but im sure it would work great like it does on any other car. Let me know if you need one.

Chris, I see on the Synapse website they have a adapter for a Tial 50 mm flange. Is that right? I have a Tial but it's giving me a bit of surge. If I could just change it without welding would be great.

K3lv... I don't see a point in switching unless yours isn't working properly.

If it makes that much of a difference in performance then I will slap the coin down for one after my kit is installed. Kelv buy it let me know how it is

PS I'm aware that a BOV isn't just for noise why do you think I threw out the bosch one.

at 7psi only I really don't think it makes much noise unless you get the duck call BOV sound maker lol....

Yeah I'm not in it for the sound, but I've followed this since it won the best new product award @ Sema and the reviews get better and better... not sure if I can afford to send away my APR and get a new one that might/might not work. All I know is that they have a fittings kit for the Audi/VW OEM Bosch DV

I have a blow thru set up, so I don't need the anti-stall valve right? And why are there 3 fittings on the back of it?

That is correct. When taking this BOV apart the machining is very good. We have these available also.

That is one nice looking Ralliart!

So yeah I figured if I was to get this I would need the following adaptive parts:

BOV itself
Anti-Stall valve for recirc systems
Audi/VW Bosch fittings kit

I haven't picked up my wallet yet, I just got new BFG KDW2 tires today and got some big bills to pay off, but I can't stop hearing the raves about this product in my head.

Since y'all were talking about Bosch DVs. Here's an interesting result from the dyno the other day. And more power at 0.7 psi less boost too. Let that one register, then discuss.
