Anyone successfully blackhoused their tail lights?

I've done this on several cars before, where you remove the headlight/taillight and use a heat gun to open it up, then paint the chrome areas black.

Has anyone successfully done it with the tails on the RA? If so are there any pics? Thanks in advance.

i remembered that someone did it on the sclc.net forum, but you might as well buy the depo ones, come prepainted black housing. but ive seen it done before, and this was like 3 years ago, sorry i dont have any pix
