Would GTS wheels look good on a 04-06 RA?
I've been offered a set at a good price.
Should I do it? I want to keep my car looking OEM(ish).

IMO, not really, they're too "busy", plus they're rather heavy.

Would a nice set of 17/18s be better then?
I like Enkeis, but I'd probably go with 17s as they are expensive!!

i'd say keep it at 17 once you find the wheel you like to keep the weight down if you plan on tracking it

GTS rims aren't heavy! have u ever held one? they are rather light. they are lighter than my after market rims that i have! i thought they were mad heavy too before i held ir for the first time and i was VERY surprised!
GTS rims would look wierd on the older gen lancer though.
photoshop anyone?

i actually put my buddies gts wheels on my 04 RA and they fit, but they were VERY close to the wheel well and would probably rub like hell. so i took them off...but they didnt look that bad...

That looks great. I've been considering GT V6 wheels too - what tire are you running? What springs are you using? And most importantly - how bad does it rub?

umm im using a custom fit dropzone coil overs ( sleeves atm) but the springs are stiff enough that its not rubbing very much BUT the camber i was getting in the rear was killin tires if u get the gt rims i would get the camber kit for the back also they were on 215/35/18 so rubberband tires lol but overall i love them on there and there a bit wider so it does ride nice i like my suspention stiffer though so its all fine with me that way but fronts fit like they were made for it! lol jsut enough offset comes very close to the suspention but works great i did need to space the back out about a 1/4 - 3/8 of and inch they were rubbing on the inner body but after spacing was great
