try with just the lip first im sure it would look awesome even without the aftermarket sides & rear but if u think its lacking something then go for rest of the kit.
why dont u search for the pics of the RA that has an RRM lip coz most of them just had the lip on so u know how it would look like.

well if you go with the lip and you change the skirts and rear, its going to be unproportional because the RRM lip isn't lower than stock but aftermarket side skirts and a rear bumper will be. or atleast im pretty sure they are

Lip kits are okay, people like them because they are simple clean looking and its a cheaper mod.. however if you want to stand out full bumpers are the way to go, and if you are going to run an intercooler you will need a wider opening..

To people outside of the tuning scene, cf lip kits look like an unfinished oddity.

you dont NEED a wider opening...i actually think itd add to that sleeper effect, considering youll be a turbo'd sportback, if you just go with the lip. IMO. personally once my custom turbo kit is done im going with the front lip and ive really been considering having the FMIC done in black...but thats just me

yea ive been think for the past couple of days n i think i just might do the lip. itll make it look modded but at the same time it will b sleeper. p painted my intercooler black n its easy 2 hide cuz its small. im runnin a really small turbo and intercooler setup im not goin for rediculous power just that added oomf haha.

thanks for all the support guys n for helpin me come 2 my decisions. i think im goin for the rrm CF front lip and im gonna leave the sides and rear alone. the only thing i might do is get a new stock RA sides and lip just 2 have new fresh ones on. theres nothing really wrong with my original ones besides a few very minor rock chips here n there but if im going 2 get a new front i want it 2 have new ones the whole way around. as for the CF looking odd 2 people outside the tuner world that doesnt really bother me...i dont really care what they have 2 think about my car as long as others understand what im doing.

thanks again for all the support n if u guys have any other good ideas on what i should do let me kno.

btw as for wheels right now im on stockers but im looking at getting new wheels. call me wierd stupid but im thinking about getting rota D2's in red n silver? it would be diffrent and somethin u dont see very often on a car you dont see very often. what do you all think???

One thing to consider is that the CF lip will lower and extend your car that is already elongated. My opinion would be with an after market piece that is the same or exact height as your current front bumper like the evo 8 or evo 9. The lip on a sportback is not going to look good, on the sedan by itself it looks okay, but I dont think a sportback can pull it off without side panels to lineup, but if you get the side panels you wont have a rear bumper made for that..

**** it do CF lip then get custom side skirts an a custom rear lip so everything lines up. obviously accolade is tryin to get u buy from them an if ur gunna pay that much u might as well get **** custome made. ontop of that ull prob end up likin it more then just gettin a front bumper an sideskirts then havin ur rear all high as ****. so just do some sort of lip (CF or FG) then find a place to do sides an rear.

i thought the RRM lip was lower than stock. i saw it used with different side skirts and rear bumper. i think one of the rally red turbo guys did it.

uhh dave, not to bash or anything (i actually bought eyelids from you guys that im very pleased with ), but from what ive researched and was told by the guys at RRM, the lip doesnt hang much lower than the stock...maybe by a 1/4". if you check out some of the pics of the lip people have posted it lines up pretty nicely
heres twisty1251's car with the lip...
angled view
its tough to see exactly where because its a little dark but you get the idea

yea it doesnt seem 2 hand down much farther. i dont think it hangs down far enough 2 make that much of a visual diffrence. i think if i just do the front lip and get stock replacement stuff itll look fine!?

n dave not tryin 2 bash either but ive been open 2 ideas and i have gotten many that say they think that the front lip would look good. but yet u still seem 2 shoot down all ideas? im just tryin 2 c what u think i should do then? like i said i mean this in no disrepect at all but if u dont think what i want 2 do will look good then what do u suggest i should do? i respect your opinion and would love 2 see what u think.
