Evo hood question

Ok, I don't know if its ever been addressed, but is there a fiberglass hood thats an Evo hood? or are we left to paint the carbon hood that is provided? I want to have an evo hood on my car but I don't like the look of carbonfiber, and I want to just make my car look like the FQ-320 over in england and I saw on TopGear awhile back one has our spoiler but the evo hood, and I just want it to look like that, not neccessarily another "I wanna make it look like an EVO" its just im looking ahead to cooling and aero for when i start acctually modifying the car.

not meaning to hi-jack this thread but just thought I would ask on here anyway

has anyone ever thought about or even tried fitting an evo hood onto the R.A... I know the lights are different so the hood will need to be modified to cut around to accomidate for this but just wondering if the measurements are the same and if it would work

Good question, but I'm sure they don't. But don't take my word for it. If it did, you could just cut around the lights and roll the edges. The trunk fits the 02-03. Who knows.

I think that CF is better than FG but dont take my word for it cause i also heard that in the winter CF hoods have a tendency to warp with the heat from the engine now someone please correct me if im wrong on this

For some reason I am having a hard time trying to convince a friend to swap bonnets with me for just a few minutes to test out if it will fit... but I have another plan as well I spotted a R.A with a modified bonnet and I am liking that idea very much and it will no doubt be cheaper to modify than buying a EVO bonnet... but it would still be interesting to find out if one would fit apart from lights needing to be cut out...

C.F needs a lot of heat to alter it's shape but the clear coat will dull after a little while quuiet a few performance cars have the C.F hoods and have no warping problems unless there was a fire under the hood what I don't like about the C.F or F/G hoods is that they do not crumple like the metal ones last thing I would like in an accident is a hood coming at me like a frisbee not a great look
