I may not have a real problem, just like you guy's may not have a real problem. The antilock brakes work, the light is strange, It may have something to do with a new gauge install, like others are stating, or possibly the ABS sensor when I had the stage 5 axles installed.

touche, but either way, If i were you i would make sure. i know mine still work, so i'm confident in braking, but of your antilock dont work and you expect them to when you brake hard, its basically like your car saying "f*** you!"

im having the same thing on my 03 oz, i got a evo8 cluster w/o acd, i know my antilock bracks work cause i had to slam on me brackes earlier in the day b4 i installed the evo cluster and the anti-lock light is on aswell... robyn402 your saying pull the bulb out? hmm gonna have to try that, how hard is it to crack the casing open...
[ the mileage on the evo8 cluster i bought is a dead on match to my oz when i swaped it out 59212 on teh dot ] so the odom is dead on took me long time to find one that had milage close to what i had

so i foudn something today, idk if it means anything, but i had to disconnect my battery to reset my ECU for my CAI, and when i started my car after the Anti-lock light was off for a few minutes.
after like 2 minutes it came back on though and hasnt gone away since, so idk what that means, if it means anything, but i wonder if its some kind of error with the ECU.

this light comes up when the cruise control is active on my RA. because the Evo doesn't have the cruise control.

As to the evo guy who put in new Axel an this could go for anyone who swaps Adela there's a little ring that goes on the Axel that looks alot like a gear of some
sort. When we swapped one if my Axel we forgot that ring and it cause the light to come on. Pit it on and it's spiffy. Won't fix the evo to ralliart light problem but may help someone

Removing the bulb is not necessary a good idea. If you guys have to pass safety checks it will fail. One trick I can think of to help diagnose the problem is when you turn the key on see if the light goes out for a second then comes on. If so then unplug one of the ABS sensors and see if the light goes off. If it does then the output is just inverted. If you follow that procedure then don't forget to plug the ABS sensor back in and do the battery disconnect to reset the system. Usually when the ABS light is on the system will be inperative.
