Question Airflow Converter

I just recently bought an 04 RA and it came with an airflow converter
ive tried different things with it to see what it does exactly and im stumped
anyone knows what it does if it does anything at all? or is just for looks?

I've never seen one actually work on a ralliart. I tried one on our turbo car but it was a massive fail. Stock computer needs a lot of sensors to work in concert to successfully trick it.
