hood adjustment

so, i've seacrhed all the threads and havent come up with anything, just wondering if any of you guys have had to adjust the hood latch. i just bought a cf hood for my car and need to move the latch over about 1/8 inch. Mitsu told me you cant adjust it which i know is BS. any help would be appreciated, thanks.
