paint stock rims?

i have been thinking about painting my stock rims a gun metal gray, but im really not to sure what paints i should use, or a good way to do it. anyone have a suggestion who has done theirs before? thanks

my suggestion is if you do it your going to be doing it regularly. i have to repaint my every year. since they arent magnetic its just way to hard to have them powdercoated.

i had my stock rims powdercoated. i couldnt be happier. when i painted them they kept shipping. they have been powdercoated for a couple months now and not a single chip. i put tolon wheels on in the winter though so cinders dont chip them.

Powdercoating doesn't require magnetism, so not sure why you say that, myfakeevo. Merely that the wheels conduct electricity, which ours do just fine.

Also, if you paint them properly, keep them clean of brakedust, and the tire place doesn't scratch them up (like mine) the paint should last a few years.
